Document with all the pertinent details

So often in my line of work I see this issue, and it’s become quite a time-suck. I know some companies simply won’t respond to anyone who doesn’t submit proper documentation, but I don’t think that’s a good way to go about creating and maintaining positive business relationships!

So, what do we mean by ‘Proper documentation’?

First, any offer or agreement should be in Proper Documentation.

Second, any document you send out should have your company information on it, AKA, your company letterhead. (Link here to Digital Daniel for company documents).
This should include your company name, address, phone number, email address, and, if appropriate, your license number(s).

Third, the document should be clearly laid out and specific about what you’re offering or agreeing to.

Last, wrap it up in a .pdf format so it’s easy to manage and ‘fits in’ with the rest of the documents CM’s and PM’s work with, and you’ll be off to the races in no time!
