Thank you for this week!(2026_04_13)

Hello all, I hope your week was great!

We had a ridiculous week; I started out completely slammed Monday morning with more than 25 new requests, but thanks to my solid processes, I was able to work through all of them!
Everything that came in this week has either been resolved, scheduled, or completed, and I get a smooth transition into the weekend.

In the Facility Management division all of the facilities in our care are working well; I had four requests across four facilities that came in on Monday and they’ve all been resolved.
Do you have a maintenance plan for your facility?

In the Carpentry division I mediated a dispute between a millwork company and a GC, tracking down the details that showed the doors orders were in fact not what was delivered, despite the supplier working hard to hide those details. It was a bit sticky, but it got done!

In The Renaissance Man division I resolved several smaller issues for clients; most of them were things that had been bothering them for months, but no one else took the time to figure it out.
This is a common issue or conversation I run into, and I find some tradespeople disparaging others about; calling others ‘stupid’ or ‘inept’ for not being able to figure it out, but in my experience, I find that most of the time it comes down to time, experience, and a lack of willingness to take a risk lest they get sued. That last one is squarely on the customers, but the other two are really our own faults. Instead of supporting each other as a network of trades professionals, many tradespeople tear others down, and it just makes it worse for everyone.
Instead of tearing another tradesman down, let’s aim to accept that may have been doing the best they could at the time, and simply didn’t have anyone to call for help.
I’m always working to expand my network of other trades professionals, and I’m always happy to take a call asking for advice.

In the office I’m still looking for local business networking for the Eastern Plains area; I’ve found the details for the East Plains Chamber of Commerce, but nothing else just yet.
There’s some events in Colorado Springs, but none that specifically focus on East plains, and since I live out here, I’d like to focus out here.

As always, I appreciate the trust you put into my company, and we keep working to repay that trust with great work, Done Right!
